University of Bristol - Library Refurbishment

Refurbishment of the University of Bristol Arts and Social Sciences Library ground floor reception area was required to incorporate a new mechanical book sorter which would have a significant effect on the Library’s operation, reducing the need for a returns desk and incorporating new IT.

Our Interior Design team were appointed to reconfigure the existing space to accommodate and display a 7 bin book sorter, two desks and additional student study space seating. The space to be refitted was a small area of 240m2 within the much larger environment of the University of Bristol Arts and Social Sciences Library, in addition to an an entrance, reception area, book returns wall, book sorter room, information desk and student study spaces.
