St John the Baptist School - New Sports Hall

We were appointed post-planning Architect for this design and build scheme. The project involved the construction of a new sports hall to provide flexible accommodation for a range of sports, including - basketball, volleyball, handball, badminton, cricket nets, a rock climbing wall and trampolining. A new 2-storey linked building also creates new classrooms, changing room areas, an aerobics/ gymnastics studio, a fitness suite and a weights area, with an outside MUGA (multi-use games area). We designed the building to meet BREEAM Very Good rating, including a large photovoltaic array on the new roof.
