Masterplanning

We undertake existing room area and usage analysis of academy estates in comparison to the ESFA Schedule of Accommodation Tool based on both the existing and projected maximum number on roll to identify if there is a need for expansion or where surplus accommodation exists. This knowledge allows academies to maximise the school estate's efficiencies, strategically consider where to apportion school funds and support funding applications for expansion-related projects.

Depending upon an academy's requirements, the extent of these exercises can vary but could include:- consideration for the school's latest curriculum analysis; opportunity and constraints analysis of the site; development of outline proposals for the strategic expansion of a school's site; assessment of existing building services capacity and evaluation of impact on external areas including playing fields.
