Kingsmarch & Baynton Development - 14 new homes

We worked closely with Bristol City Council’s Special Projects Team to develop appropriate and sustainable designs that provide large affordable family homes on this site in Lawrence Hill, adjacent to the existing high-rise Kingsmarsh House and Baynton House.

The second of three projects completed for Bristol City Council providing new, much-needed Council homes across the city. This project has seen the redevelopment of a former garage site to create 14 new homes, 13 large family houses, and a flat. A key challenge was the shape of this infill site, and the new homes have been designed and carefully sited to present interesting elevations and views for the new residents.

The new homes are spacious, adaptable and sustainable, designed to meet Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes, with accommodation provided in three- and four-bedroom houses with additional parlour rooms.
