Chesterfield Hospital - Extension and Refurbishment to Listed Building

The redevelopment of Chesterfield Hospital has created a new state-of-the-art 40 bed hospital facility in the centre of the highly sensitive Clifton Conservation Area. This major new facility provides the very latest in minimally invasive surgery and advanced diagnostics. The new clinical block was developed on the footprint of the former 1930s ward block and provides 30 new ensuite inpatient bedrooms, a 3-bed intensive therapy unit and a 7-bed day ward.
