Burlington House - 61 new apartments

The London Borough of Hounslow were aiming to deliver new and affordable homes on an existing site, which had been vacant since 2017. We were appointed to develop a scheme comprising 100% council homes for rent. 

This sensitive site provides several challenges, including its location within a conservation area, proximity to many listed buildings, residential properties to the north, and the need to retain a number of large high-quality trees. 

The building's contemporary design uses traditional materials such as red brick and clay roof tiles to respond to the Arts and Crafts-style buildings within the Conservation Area. The scheme comprises 61 apartments, all designed to National Described Space Standards and compliant with The London Plan.
