Blackheath Hospital - External Repairs

After an initial condition survey of the external building fabric, including all windows, doors and general elevations, to investigate their condition and identify any defects requiring repair, our inter-disciplinary team led the design and delivery of the project.

Works included stone and render repairs, sash window overhauls, drainage upgrades, roof repairs, asbestos removals, roof replacements and general decoration. The 1960s build was redecorated to match the original 19th-century building capturing the cream stone quoin details and rendered black elevations.

Careful consideration was given to the logistics of the scheme due to the location of the hospital in the Blackheath Conservation Area and its’ close surroundings of primarily residential buildings.
