Currently looking at the St Michael’s CofE Primary School project

We designed a new 320-place building to replace an aging Victorian schoolhouse and its various outbuildings.  We had to work within the constraints of the Heavitree Conservation Area and a covenant that prevented development over a large part of the school ground.

The contract phase was sensitively worked around the existing school, which continued to run throughout the construction period.

Both St Michael’s and St Sidwell’s were part of a £12m design and build project with two other schools in the Exeter area that were also in urgent need of redevelopment.
