Currently looking at the SOAS Teaching Room Refurbishment project

As part of Kendall Kingscott’s framework appointment at SOAS a major compressed programme of teaching space refurbishment was undertaken during the summer of 2012.

Kendall Kingscott acted as Lead Consultants, Building Surveyors, Interior Designers and CDM Co-ordinators.  The project involved a significant quantity of move management requiring close consultation with stakeholders who were required to relocate as part of the project.

The teaching rooms were located in notable listed buildings including the Old Phillips Building (1940), the New Philips Building (1968), and late Victorian properties within Russell Square.

Our in-house Interior Designer liaised closely with the client’s team of the co-ordination of colour schemes and furniture selection.

Kendall Kingscott programmed the work to in excess of 50 teaching spaces over a 12 week period requiring 5 separate phases.  All were completed on time with no effect on teaching timetables
