Currently looking at the Lecture Theatre Refurbishment project

The Abbey School appointed Kendall Kingscott to undertake extensive refurbishment of their Lecture Theatre as the first project of their multi-million pound strategic redevelopment masterplan and this redevelopment is very much seen by the school as their flagship scheme for the future works.

The existing lecture theatre, originally built in the 1970s, had ongoing ventilation issues, overheating problems and was extremely dated.

The refurbishment provided all new Mechanical and Electrical services, including intelligent lighting.  Occupancy numbers have been increased from 80 to 120.  Carefully considered finishes harmonise with the Abbey School branding.  The lecture theatre is now multi use and is used for lectures, cinema, musical performances and external hire.
